Dear sweet Nalah, I put up the pink Christmas tree today in our house that is the exact same tree you had in your hospital room on your first Christmas. Sharing time with you and your family in Edmonton was always incredibly special and it was especially meaningful to share your first Christmas with you. This time of year in December brings back memories of the depth of our shared sorrow, which came from a place of loving you so deeply. You enriched our lives in so many beautiful ways and inspired us with your strong spirit, bright eyes and sweet smile. We will carry you with us forever and will miss you always.
