My girls spoke to each other without words

Nalah always communicated effectively without saying a word. Nalah was expressive with her body language, tone, facial expressions and particularly with her eyes. We never had any doubt what she felt or thought about anything that was going on. Her smile was mischievous, delightful, warm, engaging, and the love she had for Karis was written alll over her face. One thing I will always remember clearly is that Nalah always had her eyes on Karis. Always. As soon as Karis was in the room, she would keep her eyes on Karis. Karis provided constant stimulation, entertainment, friendship, affection, playfulness and love. Nalah adored her big sister, and I used to joke that part of it was self-protective as Karis would come really close to Nalah wilth her big, big hair, and as Nalah got older she would shoot Karis 'a look' , by putting her eyes slighting more narrow with a stern look on her face. The two sisters just always communicated so well. They played footsie as often as they could, would touch each other and reach out. When Nalah learned to roll over the first thing she did is roll over to Karis. In fact we have some funny photos of Karis sleeping and Nalah propelling herself over to Karis and attempting to bop her on the head. Nalah was just using so much effort to attempt to roll over and lay close to her sister. It was extremely sweet. My girls have such love for each other. They were just like that saying, peas in a pod. I am so sad that they cannot be physically together anymore.
